Chic Signs spent Sunday, April 29th at the FLOWER 386 Wedding Expo which was hosted at the Rolex 24 Lounge in Daytona Beach, FL. FLOWER is a non-profit organization composed of some of Volusia County’s most talented wedding and event professionals. They help their community through events, seminars, wedding-related fundraisers, and charitable acts.

We were excited to show of some of our new custom acrylic signs which seemed to draw a big interest from the brides and grooms. With the Daytona expo over, we are getting ready for the next big expo which will be June 10th in Orlando with the Perfect Wedding Guide.

Check out some of the photos from the Daytona Beach Wedding Expo below.

Some couples are looking for a venue that's unique, elegant and memorable. What could be more memorable than having a wedding at a museum! Your guest can enjoy browsing the exhibits and enjoy the historical artifacts and artwork.

We were so happy to provide signage for this past weekends Wedding Group Tour and Ask A Planner at the Museum of Arts & Sciences in Daytona Beach, FL with Cherry Blossom Events! Guest were given a guided tour of the museum to show them the variety of ceremony and reception options they could utilize for their wedding.

Scattering a few custom signs around the museum can really help add a little charm to your wedding. Every couple has a different style and Chic Signs is happy to work with you to create custom wedding signage to fit your style.

Tips for Attending a Wedding Expo

Wedding season is approaching, which means wedding expos are coming up! Chic Signs will be attending the Perfect Wedding Guide Expo in Orlando on February 11th. As someone who has attended a wedding expo for my own wedding, I can tell you from experience you will really benefit from this during your wedding planning.

What are the benefits to attending an expo? The expo opens up so many doors for meeting vendors, not only do you learn about new vendors, but meeting them in person can help you build a relationship with them. You can get a better idea of what they can create, view their portfolio, or taste their samples. Expos can allow you to see what you may be forgetting in your wedding planning. Whether its party favors, rentals or wedding decor, you should be able to gather a good list at the show to add on to your wedding to do list. If you feel you need help, this is a great time to talk to wedding planners. They can help you get an idea if your on target or you need a little extra help.

Expos normally only last a few hours per event, so you have a lot to see in a short amount of time. It’s important to get handouts from vendors if they have them so you can really take the time later on to look more into their services and see if they would be a good choice for your wedding. Always remember to charge your phone before
the event. You will find so much inspiration you may constantly be taking photos of flowers, cakes, table settings, event decor and even videos from the fashion shows.

Another great tip for attending expos is that many vendors offer deals that day if you book with them. And who doesn’t want a deal, especially while planning such an expensive day.  Go this event with an open mind! You may hear about ideas and push them away, but sometimes after seeing them in person that can change how you think about something, and you may fall in love with the design. The most important tip for a wedding expo is to have fun! Bring your bridal party, your mother and mother-in-law. If it’s a large expo your group can always split up and gather as much info as you can to help make your decisions. This is your time to have fun and be spoiled. Remember this day is all about you!

As a preferred vendor at the Perfect Wedding Guide Expo we can help you get 2 free tickets to the upcoming event in Orlando on February 11th by using the code: INVITED. Visit: orlando.pwgshows.com/. We are excited to attend the expo and meet brides and hope to work with them on creating their custom wedding signs.
